Divinity Activities

Keeping in view the secular ethos of the school celebrated and rejoiced in the spirit of the festival Guru Nanak Jayanti.

A special assembly was conducted on 16th November to mark the occasion and bring home the relevance of the festival to our young generation.

The students depicted glimpses of the sacred life lived by Guru Nanak Devji. The well presented enactment certainly enlightened the students about the solemnity of the festival.

Guru Nanak Jayanti which marks the birth anniversary of the first Sikh Guru was celebrated with élan in the school premises when the students depicted the religious ceremony observed in the Gurudwara on this day and also sang the Shabad Gurbani.

Tiny tots of the school visited the neighbor-hood Gurudwara and paid reverence at the door of the Almighty. Senior wing students presented small skits to emphasize the teachings of the first Sikh Guru. Students dressed as Panj Pyaras organized a procession carrying the sikh flag. All the while they sang hyms. Students of classes IX and X also displayed sword man-ship. Students also distributed the Guru prasada to fellow students and staff members.
